My name is Mindy Arora, owner of Arora Marketing. I started my career working in London in advertising and marketing before re-training and working as a Business Studies teacher for 8 years. In 2011 I started working for my first client, CBPT, with a view to improving his message and general reach across the Lincoln area. From this small project the business has grown and I now look after clients across both B2B and B2C sectors. CBPT is still a client.
As well as helping start-ups, small and medium sized businesses ‘Be Better Online’ I have previously Co-Chaired Navenby & Cliff Villages Business Network where I established ‘Christmas in Navenby’ with Co-chair Luke Daniels. The role allowed me to work closely with local businesses for the benefit of our local community. I now manage the social media presence of the group.
I selected the Nomad Trust as my chosen charity in 2017 and raised £1700+ by taking part in their #SleepEasy17 event. You can read about my experience here.
In addition to sleeping rough, we sponsored the Nomad Trust’s Knight, part of the Lincoln Knights’ Trail and celebrations for the 800th anniversary of the Battle of Lincoln. Arora Marketing brought the ‘Knight to Navenby’ and offered a Mini-Knights Trail for local residents. Find out more here.
2018-19 was a busy time meeting new clients and facing new challenges. I have launched a second business, ASALI, which has allowed me to explore the world of online retail within a niche market.
New for 2020 is my 1 to 1 consultation service for people starting out or trying to improve their own online promotion without the commitment of a monthly fee
My approach to business is rooted in being honest and being available. I like working with clients who care as much about their clients as I do mine. Communication between both parties is key for a fruitful and positive relationship.
